I am a Physical Therapist by profession and have spent a 30+ year career dedicated to helping those with disabilities achieve their highest practical level of function.  I also have an adult son with IDD and have spent his lifetime advocating for his specific healthcare needs in order that he too achieves his highest level of health and wellbeing.

I am fortunate enough to have met the IEC team in its early days of inception and admire their tireless work to ensure those with intellectual disabilities are engaged and empowered to access and receive health care in parity with their non-disabled peers.  As a parent and a healthcare professional, I am humbled and honored to be considered a founding member of the IDD Advocate Core.  My vision is for a healthcare system that recognizes the specific healthcare needs of a neurodiverse population, and has the skill set and the infrastructure necessary to meet those needs, each time, every time
